• Attracted the patronage of comedian, Jack Dee, from Autumn 2000 – Autumn 2002
• Awarded £28,000 to Weston Park Hospital, Sheffield, towards the cost of  a new, purpose built Teenage Cancer Trust Unit
• Adopted, now in the third year, by Outfit, of the Arcadia Group of companies
• Featured on Yorkshire Television, in a half hour documentary
• Funded a 1 year research project on stem cell therapy at the Molecular Medicine Unit, also at St James’s, Leeds
