Dance Against Cancer supported by the Northern Ballet Theatre

"When she was three years old, Laura made her stage debut at Bradford Alhambra - one of Dorothy Stevens little girls who took part, as ever, with older students and some of those who had gone on to graduate from world class ballet schools, in the extravaganza put on by Dorothy every year. I have a lovely album of treasured photos of Laura's dancing days, when she and I had such fun during theatre productions and when I helped her at home to practice what I'd seen taught in class. She always kept that grace that dancers often have and always looked back with pleasure on her dancing days, as have her older brothers and I."
Jacquie Roeder - Laura's mother, Chair of Trustees and Voluntary Trust Manger

Laura loved to dance. She inspired this appeal and in turn inspired dance schools across the country to 'dance against cancer'. Since October 2003 'Dance Against Cancer' has raised over £25,000 towards our target of £50,000.

We are also very pleased that the Northern Ballet Theatre is supporting our appeal by promoting it to their audiences and offering prizes to top fundraisers.

Please - dance against cancer and help us reach our target!
