Outfit Stores (Arcadia Group) are based in 20 out-of-town retail parks throughout the country and have been supporting Laura's Trust since September 2002.

At each till in the stores, our pin badges are on display along with our collection boxes. Staff run fundraising activities amongst themselves and sometimes involving customers.

Each of the stores have a target of £1,000 to raise over a year, and they have become quite competetive in the past! The annual cheque is presented to us at their AGM and to date over £40,000 has been raised.

After the first year of fundraising equal shares of the total money raised were offered to all the hospitals which treat teenage cancer, both in the UK and Dublin, to be spent on measures to brighten the lives of the teenagers during their difficult stays in hospital.

Thanks to the association with Outfit, we have been able to provide Playstaions, DVD players, televisions, art & craft materials and work tables, computers and laptops, portable stereo systems and lots, lots more.

From the second year onwards the money raised is put into the 'Outfit Fund', held by the Trust, to which the hospitals may apply when the need arises. This will give a greater opportunity to those hospitals which are less well funded to get a bigger slice than they might otherwise.

We are in the third year of Outfit's support which is invaluable as they are helping to raise awareness and support nationwide.
