Harveys Selects LCYCT as Charity of the Month
We are thrilled to announce that Harveys have chosen us to be their charity of the month for March! The LCYCT and Harveys will be teaming up throughout the month of March in the fight against cancer in young people.
Harveys is based in Halifax in West Yorkshire, opened in the 1950s the store has gone from strength to strength and now has approximately 30,000 square feet of selling space! Harveys is a family run business, which thrives on its values of being customer focused with a high reputation for customer care. Awarded the Investors in People award in March 2003 they provide a friendly environment and are the focal point in a local community.
On Saturday the 18th of March from 11am to 3pm, our patron rugby league legend Keith Senior will be hosting a health awareness day in Harveys Café. Harveys will be serving a delicious Tomato Soup with a Kick, which is not only delicious but it is packed full of cancer fighting ingredients. The Harveys team will be promoting healthy lifestyle messages and spreading the word on our ongoing Check Yourself Tuesday campaign.
On the eve of Mother's day treat your mum or a very special person to a pamper and shopping session. Harveys luxury counters will be providing make-overs and hand massages to you and your special someone.
Once you're relaxed and looking hot to trot treat yourself and your loved one to the lunch time fashion where charity representatives including our Ambassador Sarah Dransfield will be hitting the catwalk modelling the greatest looks. You can enjoy the fashion show whilst enjoying a glass of fizz and some delicious chocolates. You'll also have the opportunity to grab any last minute gifts ready for Mother's day. It will be a real treat!
Every Friday and Saturday throughout March Harveys will be serving our delicious Tomato Soup with a Cancer Kick. The delicious tomato soup with a kick of garlic, shallots and basil contains ingredients with cancer fighting properties.
