Postage pricing
The easyest way to find out how much postage will be for your order, is to add the items to your Shopping Cart and then while in the Shopping Cart click on "Estimate Shipping" button, select your country and this will then show which postage options are availiable to you as well as the current postage price for the items in your Shopping Cart.
Any product(s) with FREE postage
These product(s) will be sent by UK 2nd Class and will not be eligable for 1st Class Recorded or Special Delivery unless agreed by us.
UK 1st and 2nd Class Standard Delivery
Shipping Option Timescale: 2 - 5 working days (Mon-Fri)
We reserve the right to refuse to send orders out by this means of shipping if your order equates to more than £36.00 and you must pay the extra costs to have it sent by Premium or Special Delivery to cover you for the correct amount should your package get lost or damaged in transit. Please note that although 9 times out of 10 your order will be delivered next day using the 1st class option it is not always the case and you must allow upto 5 working days for your order to arrive if choosing this shipping option, if you want something guaranteed to arrive next day you must choose Special Next Day Delivery.
UK 1st and 2nd Class Recorded Delivery (Must Be Signed For)
Shipping Option Timescale: 2 - 5 working days (Mon-Fri)
This shipping option has added security of your product(s) compared to standard first class delivery, royal mail will ask for a signature to prove it has been recieved and a copy of the signature can be issued. In the event your product(s) are lost in the post, we are issued with a reference tracking number, so that we can trace it through royal mail and either retrieve it from where it is being kept or get you a refund for a maximum of £36.00 (if your order equates to more than this amount please choose premium or special delivery where your package is insured upto £500). We reserve the right to refuse to send orders out by this means of shipping if your order equates to more than £36.00 and you must pay the extra costs to have it sent by Premium or Special Delivery to cover you for the correct amount should your package get lost or damaged in transit. Please note that although 9 times out of 10 your order will be delivered next day using the 1st class option it is not always the case and you must allow upto 5 working days for your order to arrive if choosing this shipping option, if you want something guaranteed to arrive next day you must choose Special Next Day Delivery.
UK Premium Recorded Delivery (Signed For)
Shipping Option Timescale: 1 - 4 working days (Mon-Fri)
This shipping option has the same added security as the first class recorded delivery option, and the added insurance level of £500 for higher value packages. We strongly advise choosing this option if your order is between £36 and £500 to ensure your package is fully insured for any loss or damage in transit.
UK Special Delivery Before 9am or Before 1pm (Signed For)
Shipping Option Timescale: 99% Guaranteed Next Day (Mon-Fri)
This option has the same security as Recorded Delivery but also has the added bonus of Next Day Delivery (on orders placed up untill 4pm, any orders placed after 4pm will be dispatched the next working day) and higher insurance level for more expensive product(s) (upto £500), We highly recommend this delivery option if you order between £36.00 & £500.00. Please choose this option if you want something delivering next day as this is the only guaranteed way of having it 99% delivered next day.
Europe & Worldwide Standard Delivery
Shipping Option Timescale: 4 - 14 working days (Mon-Fri)
This Option will be sent by Standard Royal Mail Airmail Small Parcels and is not trackable so there are no reference or tracking numbers to be issued. If your order is over 2kgs it will be shipped using an available courier.
UK Standard Parcels
Shipping Option Timescale: 5 - 7 working days (Mon-Fri)
This option is only available to UK Customers, it is a cost effective way of having larger parcels delivered.
Shipping Costs
All shipping costs are determined by the weight and size of the product(s) ordered and where in the world we are shipping to, unless otherwise stated. The shipping costs are always displayed to you when you proceed to the checkout and before you enter your payment details. Please make a careful note of this as mistakes cannot be rectified afterwards. We reserve the right to increase shipping costs as per Royal Mails annual rise.
Ordering & Dispatch
Unless otherwise stated in the item description, we aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days from you placing your order, 24 hours for Special Delivery orders (Working Days = Monday to Friday). If we anticipate any delay in this time period we will do our upmost to keep you informed by email but unforseen circumstances do arise.
Dispatch Times
Please check all item descriptions as dispatch times may vary for certain products, these dispatch times are an estimate and can become shorter or longer. The Laura Crane Trust are not bound by any timescales listed anywhere on this website, they are an estimate only and are for information purposes.
Delivery
We can deliver product(s) to most countries throughout the world. As a general guide, approximate delivery timescales AFTER dispatching your product(s) are:
- UK 1-5 working days
- Europe 5-8 working days
- USA and Canada 8-10 working days
- Rest of the world 10-14 working days
Delays or Loss in Transit
Once your order has left our premises it is then solely and fully in the hands of the delivery/courier company as from the day your order status is changed to "Sent Out" or "Dispatched" (by choosing a shipping option this is the follow on service you have chosen and paid for yourself as a customer). We can provide you with any tracking information, dates, reference numbers etc, but it is therefore your responsability to track and trace the parcels in transit and claim for any loss or damage of items whilst in the hands of the delivery/courier company. We reserve the right to help you with claims but Royal Mail and most couriers suggest waiting at least 28 days for delivery of any parcel before a claim form can be submitted for a parcel deemed as lost in transit, this allows time for a parcel to be collected from the collections office if no one was home when they attempted delivery, and for the parcel to be delivered back to sender if it was not collected, any claims will not be submitted to Royal Mail until after 28 days by The Laura Crane Trust. Unless these conditions state otherwise, we are not liable for any loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivery.
Returns By Royal Mail
If a package is returned to us because you failed to get it redelivered or collect it from your local delivery office within the timescale on the card left by the postman (normally 7 days for recorded and special deliverys, and 28 days for standard 1st and 2nd class mail), because you were not home when the postman attempted to deliver, then postage fees to resend an item back out to you may be requested before it is resent, because we (as the sender), have to repay postage on the item to be resent.
Faulty Products
All product(s) are fully checked & tested before dispatch, but in the unlikely event of faulty or damaged product(s) please refer to our returns policy below.
Returns
If you find your product(s) are damaged upon arrival you must notify us as soon as possible in writing by email before you return it to us. We must be made aware of any Faulty or Damaged product(s) within 7 working days of delivery.
In the event of any unwanted product(s) you may return it unopened and unused without the seals or bands broken or removed within 7 working days for an exchange, or a refund (minus an admin fee), anything returned after 7 days will not be accepted and a refund will NOT be issued and you may be liable to pay costs for the goods to be returned to you.
We will fully inspect all product(s) before making a decision on any exchange or refund and reserve the right to refuse to accept a return we deem unfaulty, not in satisfactory condition, or damaged by yourself due to misuse and not following the correct instructions on use of the product(s), it will then be returned to you and you may have to pay the shipping.
If we do accept your return you can expect your refund or replacement product(s) within approximately 7 working days after we receive your unwanted, faulty or damaged product(s) minus a 15% administration and restocking fee.
Please note you shall not be entitled to a refund of the shipping costs incurred in returning the product(s) to us.
Before returning your faulty or damaged product(s) to us please ensure that you sufficiently package the product(s) using similar packing to what the product(s) were shipped to you in. You are also advised to return product(s) by recorded delivery, registered post, or by courier. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Please remember to give us your name and address, and a copy of your purchase receipt. We will not accept liability for product(s) lost or damaged during transit returned by you, therefore we advise insuring all product(s) returned to us.
