Youth Against Cancer

As the Laura Crane Trust is especially relevant to young people because it exists solely for their benefit, we ask them to get behind us and help support our youth events.

The Laura Crane Trust’s ‘Youth Against Cancer’ campaign aims to raise awareness of cancer in young people and encourage young people to join in our fight against cancer.

Young people who are aware of charity work and who get involved in fundraising are more positive about the work of charities and their own belief that they can change the world around them.

Call or email Jemma (see 'Contacts') to request our ‘Youth Against Cancer’ brochure, which explains more about teenagers with cancer, why it is so important for young people to actively contribute to the fight and how they can do so. We also have a leaflet full of ideas for 7-11 year olds.

‘Youth Against Cancer Week' this year runs from the 19th to 25th October.  During this week we would ask school, college, and university students, young people in youth groups, the CCF, drama groups, dance schools, orchestras, bands, choirs, martial arts, field sports or whatever to help promote the Laura Crane Trust and raise funds to help us to fight cancer in young people. Let us know what you'd like to do and we'll help you all the way!
